To install the surround or centre speaker on the wall
Sharp has designed the surround or centre speaker so you can
hang it on the wall.
Example: Surround speaker
Note:
You can mount the centre speaker in the same way.
CAUTION:
Make sure to prevent the surround speaker [1.5 kg (3.3 lbs.)] or
centre speaker [1.5 kg (3.3 lbs.)] from falling when mounting on
the wall.
Before mounting, check the wall strength. (Avoid the veneer plas-
ter or whitewashed wall. The surround or centre speaker may
fall.) If it is not clear, consult with a qualified service technician.
Check all mounting screws for looseness and that they are
engaged in the surround or centre speaker.
Mount the surround or centre speaker on the wall with 4 screws.
Select a good location. If not, accidents may occur or the sur-
round or centre speaker may get damaged.
Avoid placing on a bed, sofa, water tank, sink and hallway wall.
SHARP is not responsible for accidents resulting from improper
installation.
1
Make a hole in the wall using
a drill.
2
Drive a wall mount plug into
the hole using a hammer,
until it is flush with the wall
surface.
3
Drive four screws into the wall for each speaker, as shown
in the illustration.
Make sure that both the screw and the wall can support a load
of 3.0 kg (6.6 lbs.).
4
Attach the supplied pattern paper to the wall, and fix 2 sur-
round speaker wall brackets with the supplied 4 screws.
