The DHT-FS5's subwoofer pre-out crossover frequency is 150 Hz. We recommend using a subwoofer with
a crossover frequency of 150 Hz.

Subwoofer

NOTE

The DHT-FS5 detects the subwoofer pre-out connection and adjusts the playback sound accordingly. When
not using a subwoofer, do not connect the subwoofer pre-out terminals.

Connecting a DVD Player

• To enjoy surround sound, we recommend connecting the DVD player using digital audio connections.
• Connect the DVD player’s video output to the TV’s video input.
